Spring is here! And so is Vern Goers Greenhouse online!
We wanted to offer our customers a new way to shop at Goers Greenhouse and allow you to see all that we have available. Please understand that our inventory changes constantly, with plants being purchased and delivered every day, even every hour. For this reason, our online store allows you to put together an order, place it for delivery or pick-up, but it does not take payment. We are fulfilling orders as quickly as possible, but assisting customers at the greenhouse comes first. To make sure we have all the plants that you have ordered in stock, we will take the payment upon time of pick-up or delivery. There is a $5 handling fee charged to all online orders. When your order is ready, you will be contacted by the greenhouse for payment information and to set up a time for pick-up or delivery.
Uploading products to the online store is a work in progress. We have been working over the past few weeks to get as many plant products uploaded as possible and will continue to do so daily. Even though the store is not yet completed, we feel comfortable at this time to make public what we have done so far to further help our customers find what they are looking for. If you do not see a product in the online store it does not mean we do not have it in stock, so you can always contact us through phone or email to double check.
If you'd rather come in and shop, we are open. You can also use this online store to make a shopping list of what you'd like to pick up. To do so, fill a cart and then print the list rather than completing the check-out process. Since our vendors are delivering a few times a week, often they will send items that are in season that we didn't have time to add to the online store, so shopping in-person does have its perks to find some different colors and varieties not listed in the online store.
When coming to the greenhouse, we ask that you observe the regulations around COVID-19, wearing a face mask, keeping social distancing in mind and limiting the number of shoppers in your party, as we will be limiting the number of shoppers in-store.
However you shop, we want to thank you for your continued support this spring. This is normally our busiest time of year, so with the current health crisis we are grateful to see customers continuing to shop and support us. Gardening can be a great stress reliever and gives us all a sense of normalcy in these unprecedented times.
Our spring hours are Monday-Friday 8:00-9:00 am for senior shoppers, 9:00-6:00 pm for general public; Saturday 8:00-5:00 pm and Sunday in May and early June 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.
